Es ist eine Schande, in einer katholischen Kirchen Meßvertonungen als "Konzert" darzubieten. Dies ist ein Symptom unmittelbar vor dem totalen kirchlihcen Zusammenbruch.

Erst kürzlich waren bei uns in der Pfarrkirche die Regensburger Domspatzen. Nicht im Rahmen einer Messe. Sondern um Gott und die Zuhörer zu erfreuen. Was soll denn da Schlechtes daran sein? Mozart ist ein wunderbarer Einstieg in die klassische Musik. Er ist leicht, fröhlich, sehr melodiös. Ich mag ihn auch sehr; auch wenn, je nach Stück, die einzelnen Stimmen im Chor manchmal sehr anspruchsvoll sind!

"I know many bishops, and almost all of them — mostly from Western Europe — tell me that they also want to ordain married men," said Bishop Johan Bonny of Antwerp in an interview with Katholisch.de on 2 April. In March, he announced his intention to ordain married men as priests by 2028. "I have not yet heard a Catholic bishop tell me, 'Even if the Pope gives me the possibility, I will not ordain married men.' They know this in Rome as well." Bishop Bonny worked in the Vatican for eleven years and is familiar with the different interests at play: "In Rome, they understand the situation here, and I know bishops and cardinals who support this solution, at least in Western Europe." He believes that the ordination of married men as priests is "a great necessity". "The consensus is there." Until the 1960s, a diocese such as Antwerp's had almost 1,500 active priests, as well as several hundred more who were retired. Dubai has two Catholic parishes - Saint Mary's and Saint Francis of Assisi in Jebel Ali. Both have confirmed the closures on their websites and will remain closed "until further notice".
