Initial reports indicate seven people were killed and 34 injured, some seriously. Jordanian authorities described the shooting as a terrorist attack. According to Roya News, preliminary assessments suggest the attackers were motivated by extremist Islamist (Takfiri) ideology. The gunmen fled the scene.

On October 20, Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein confirmed that he would not approve legislation allowing abortion. The bill had passed Parliament on September 2 by 13 votes to 12. The cargo ship "Khoriv" came under attack while heading toward ports on the Danube. The Comoros-flagged cargo ship Khoriv has sunk 24 km off the Romanian port of Constanța. It was the 11th vessel hit by drones in the Black Sea recently, seven of them near Romania's coast. A search and rescue operation is currently underway in the area, involving one patrol ship and one boat, as well as the search and rescue vessel "Artemis". According to preliminary reports, of the 13 crew, 10 Ukrainians and 3 Azerbaijanis, Romanian units managed to rescue nine crew members, three more are being searched for, and one was killed in the strike. Russia's Defense Ministry said earlier it had struck a cargo ship being used to supply the AFU.
