Cardinal Gambetti Expected to Leave St. Peter's Basilica: According to AdVaticanum, Cardinal Mauro Gambetti is expected to step down as Archpriest of St. Peter's Basilica by the end of the summer and become Archbishop of Chieti, a move seen as a demotion. The report attributes the change to Gambetti's fatigue after several demanding years, as well as controversies over security incidents at the basilica, administrative reforms, and other disputes. It also says his close association with Father Enzo Fortunato, who faced criticism over the World Children's Day initiative, weakened his position.

Exclusive: Why Cardinal Gambetti is expected to leave St Peter’s Basilica | Advaticanum

AdVaticanum can confirm that Cardinal Gambetti is expected to leave his position as Archpriest of St Peter’s Basilica later this summer. AdVaticanum sources in the Vatican have confirmed that he is expected to move to the Archdiocese of Chieti. While this will not come as a surprise to many Vatican watchers, as Archbishop Bruno Forte is already beyond the customary retirement age, the move is nonetheless notable. Although Chieti is a metropolitan archdiocese, it has not traditionally been a cardinalatial see and is relatively small. As such, the appointment could reasonably be interpreted as a demotion for Cardinal Gambetti. Sources close to Cardinal Gambetti say he feels burnt out after his time at St Peter’s and that a move away from Rome may suit him. They added: “He doesn’t like the spotlight.” AdVaticanum understands that when Pope Leo initially reconfirmed office holders, Gambetti’s appointment was extended for only six months. AdVaticanum also understands that Cardinal Gambetti’s …

Homosex Club in Former Church Closed After Rosary Crusade

The new homosex club ‘Divine Playhouse’ in Sydney has temporarily closed after its landlord ordered it to "cease carrying on offensive trade", reports Abc.net.au on July 15.
The venue opened on 8 July in a former Catholic church. Deconsecrated in 1932, the building has operated as a theatre and performance space for decades.
The club's closure followed protests by around 70 Catholics who gathered outside the venue to pray the rosary and object to the mockery of Christian beliefs.
Performances included transvestites dressed as nuns, alcohol labelled as 'unholy water', and parodies of the Eucharist.
Following the demonstrations, the venue's landlord issued a breach notice. As a result, the operators have cancelled all upcoming events while considering legal action.

I believe that any building the Church has used for Mass, if the Church wants to sell it, the edifice should be destroyed so no unholy actions ever happen there.

Cardinal Pizzaballa Visited Roman Rite Monastery: On July 11–12, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, visited the Old Rite Benedictine monastery of San Benedetto in Monte in Norcia, Italy. In Norcia, he received the civic award International St. Benedict Prize for Peace. Reflecting on the war in Gaza, Cardinal Pizzaballa compared the region's future reconstruction to Norcia's recovery after the 2016 earthquake. During his visit, he joined the monks for the Roman Rite liturgy, encouraged their vocation of prayer, and toured the monastery's growing apostolates, including an educational apostolate, guesthouse, and brewery.

Pope Leo appoints pro-LGBT Australian archbishop to Dicastery for Evangelisation - Pax Orbis

Archbishop Peter Comensoli of Melbourne, Victoria, who is known for his support for LGBT Catholics and ecumenical dialogue, was appointed to the position on June 27th by Pope Leo, along with Archbishop Filippo Iannone O Carm and Archbishop Èric de Moulins-Beaufort. by Kathy Clubb Archbishop Comensoli will join the Section for Fundamental Questions regarding Evangelisation in the World; another area of the Dicastery deals with First Evangelisation and New Particular Churches. The Dicastery for Evangelisation is presided over directly by the Roman pontiff. The role of the dicastery, according to its constitution: ‘serves the work of evangelisation, so that Christ, the light of the nations, may be known and witnessed to by word and deed, and the Church, his mystical Body, may be built up.’ One problem becomes immediately obvious: Peter Comensoli has little idea of what constitutes the Catholic Church. For him and those who surround him, “Church” is a loosely-defined conglomeration of …

Bistro on Roof of St. Peter's Basilica Ready to Open: A bistro on the roof of St. Peter's Basilica is ready to open, according to IlMessaggero.it. The new dining area, located beneath the basilica's dome, could open as early as September. The Vatican has maintained that the project is an expansion of the existing snack bar, where visitors can buy coffee, drinks and light snacks. Il Messaggero, however, reports that the completed facility includes a fully equipped kitchen and a dedicated bistro area opposite the current snack bar.

As the song from CABARET goes, Money makes the world go round.

In the Pantheon of gods of Pope Francis and Pope Leon XIV, the goddess pachamama is not alone. They preach the doctrine of Balaam.

1) Revelation 2:14; But I have this against you: you tolerate some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel so that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality.
a) They made the faithful bow their heads to the ground to worship the goddess Pachamama.
b) They neither preach to nor baptize Muslims. Instead, they promote the worship of Baal in the Vatican, allowing Muslims to practice their religion there. The public flattering of Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV toward Muslims is common knowledge, even as Muslims are killing Christians around the world and they say nothing.
c) Mark 15–16; Jesus said: “Go into all the world and proclaim the Good News to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned”.
d) Instead of evangelizing as Jesus commanded, they encourage Catholics to discover a pagan god in Islam, leading them to worship Baal—the …އިތުރު

Russian Tourists Face Deportation After Reading Bible at Hagia Sophia: Russian tourists Igor and Viktoria Filonov were detained in Istanbul after reading a passage from the Bible while visiting the upper gallery of Hagia Sophia. The couple was transferred to a migrant detention center. Turkish authorities investigate the "case" under a law related to "incitement to hatred".

Mother Miriam has done a complete 180 on the SSPX: "God has established His Church, his universe, everything on obedience, everything on obedience. Children are to obey their parents, not if their parents are holy and right, in everything but sin. Wives are to submit to their husbands, not because they're holy, not because they're right, but because God has given them that position — again, in everything but sin. Religious are to obey their superiors, whether their superior is right or holier than them, or no matter what it is, they are to obey in everything. And Christ's sheep, which is us, every one of us is to obey the successor of Peter, whether we know for sure he is, whether we agree with him, whether we can point out definite heresy. If he's the Pope, then we obey in everything but sin. We don't come against him. So that's where I left it yesterday, and my heart was completely converted."

The Transfiguration of Our Lord

Saint of the Day, August 6, 1965
by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira
August 6 is the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ. On this day, the first church on Mount Tabor was dedicated. Tradition has it that Mount Tabor was the “high mountain” described in the Gospel as the site of the Transfiguration.
In 1457, Pope Callistus III ordered this feast to be solemnly celebrated throughout Christendom in thanksgiving for the defeat of the Turks in Belgrade, especially due to the heroic efforts of Saint John of Capistrano. The novena to Our Lady of the Assumption also begins on this day.
We all know the Gospel episode in which the Lord goes up with Peter, James and John to the top of Mount Tabor. At a certain moment, He manifests Himself in all His glory with Moses on one side and Elijah, our spiritual father, on the other.
The disciples are so enthralled with His glory that they express a desire to remain there. However, this external manifestation of glory gradually diminishes as the …އިތުރު

🚀🛩 Missile & drone attacks on US bases in Jordan show Iran has learned to penetrate American air defenses
A series of recent Iranian strikes on US military installations in the Middle East has raised questions about the Islamic Republic’s growing military capabilities.
Improved ballistic missiles?
🔴 Iranian missiles again targeted US sites in Jordan on July 19. Two days earlier, an Iranian strike on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base killed two US soldiers, left another missing, and injured four additional service members. Sunday marked the fifth attack on US forces in Jordan in just over a week.

In the early hours of July 13–14, Iranian attacks also struck King Faisal Air Base, wounding up to five US troops.
